Anam Cara is Gaelic and means Soul Friend, a beautiful undestanding of love and friendship. The Celts believed that Anam Cara is a friend with whom you could share your innermost self, your mind and your heart. This connection cut across all convention, morality and category. There is no limitations of time or space. A soul friend shows you light to be yourself and guides when you feel you are wandering alone in darkness.
